The Tulare County Office of Education - the agency selected to lead the California Teacher Recruitment Program - houses a center at its office in Visalia. Another center is housed at California State University-Monterey Bay. This region covers the counties of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Monterey, San Benito, San Joaquin, Santa Cruz, Stanislaus, and Tulare.
