Eligibility Requirements
- 50% or more teaching position with one of our participating districts in a special education setting
- CBEST Passing Score
- Bachelor's of Arts or Science
- Subject matter competency
- Fingerprinting clearance
- U.S. Constitution requirement
- Prerequisite course, Framework for Teaching, offered by TCOE.

Teaching Practicum
In year one and year two, it is the expectation that skills and knowledge gained in the coursework be directly applied to classroom teaching. A Practicum Supervisor works one-on-one with each intern to facilitate this process.

- Low cost tuition - $8,200 for first two years; $3200 for third year. Books are included. Cost is subject to change.
- Monthly automatic payroll deduction or Tulare County employees; monthly electronic bank check for all other interns
