Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
Eligibility Requirements
- Full-time teaching position with one of our participating districts in a multiple-subject classroom
- CBEST Passing Score
- Passing scores on CSET
- Fingerprinting clearance
- Prerequisite course, Framework for Teaching, which must be completed prior to beginning the program.
- U.S. Constitution requirement
- Bachelor's of Arts or Science

Teaching Practicum
Throughout both year one and year two, the interns' teaching experience is linked to coursework. It is the expectation that skills and knowledge gained in the methods courses be directly applied to classroom teaching. A Practicum Supervisor works one-on-one with each intern to facilitate this process.
