Project IMPACT
Project IMPACT is designed for teachers wishing to complete their California Preliminary Credential while teaching full time. Project IMPACT is accredited by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. It was originated by the San Joaquin County Office of Education, and is sponsored by the Tulare County Office of Education and a consortium of local school districts.
- Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential
This two-year program helps interns gain expertise in teaching through coaching and support by completing a schedule of sixteen courses. Porject IMPACT teachers are employed as interns in either a Mathematics, Science, English or History classroom during the day and attend credential classes two afternoons a week.

- Preliminary Multiple Subject Teaching Credential
This two-year program helps interns gain expertise in teaching through coaching and support by completing a schedule of nine courses per year. Project IMPACT teachers are employed as interns in multiple subject, self-contained classrooms during the day and attend credential classes two evenings a week (e.g., 5:00 - 8:00 pm). Each course is approximately one month in duration.
